I loved going out in London but sometimes during winter, it is way too cold or wet to just wander around the streets on a Saturday night. Kingley Court is the go to!

This funky new area is built within the Soho district off Carnaby Street. It features twenty-one shops and restaurants in three stores. It features some of the best food and drinks in town all in an easy convenient hub just minutes away from Oxford Street Station.

As a general, rule we would meet friends who hadn’t been there at Shakespeare’s Head, the historical pub that Darwin lived in for a while. This place is easy to find, always has room and it’s easy / well priced for a beer. The pub is located at 29 Great Marlborough Street, Carnaby, London, W1F 7HZ. This is the quintessential London pub and is perfect for a beer to start the night rolling.

From here walk about a block along Carnaby Street and you will find the entry way to Kingsley Court.

Dinner Pics

Senor Civeche – a modern Peruvian fusion restaurant featuring Civeche and Pisco but they have so many yummy things on the menu I can’t recommend this place more!

Dishoom – modern indian – my Indian friend took me there because she loves it so much.

Dirty Bones – modern Southern American/ NYC comfort food  – chicken and waffles, burgers and amazing drinks

Flat Iron – beautifully cooked steaks

I would recommend making a reservation for any of these because they are very popular (and you pretty much need a booking for anything in London). Open Table is great for this.

Drinks

If after dinner drinks are of interest try Cahoots. This is my favourite bar in London! They serve an amazing set of specialty cocktails but the best part about this place is the experience. The theme, the waiters, the vibe – it’s best just to go and experience the bootleg post-war bar!

If you are after a coffee before or after, try Soho Grind which is just around the corner. They have great espresso / flat whites / lattes but if you head down the stairs they have a great little bar serving one of the best espresso martinis in London.

All of the restaurants in the area have amazing cocktails and great wine lists so you will never be short of a good drink.

Enjoy!
