Winter to Spring 2017 fashion is all about the grunge but if you are not a punk rocker what’s best for you.

Work with black silhouettesblack is back

Work with silhouettes. I love blacks, particularly when I go through the ‘I have nothing to wear mood’.
I find I can be much braver with new shapes and cuts than I can with colors. This is mainly due to the fact that I am thinking about the shape of my body.

Play to your advantages

You know what your strengths are when it comes to your shape so let your body do the talking. Select fashion cuts that are right for you. If you’ve got it baby flaunt it.

If you are a little shorter or curvy, go for high waisted jeans with a cut-off. This will accentuate your legs and curves.

If you are tall with a short waist go for all in one pieces or figure hugging options to accentuate your natural lines.

Be brave

Black allows you to try things that you maybe haven’t tried it. Black is slimming so if you are a little
self-conscious about a certain area, draw the attention somewhere else.

Have fun with it

At the end of the day clothes are clothes but occasionally it’s nice to try something a little different, a little experimental and a little out of your comfort zone. Who knows, you might find something you love.

If you do want to spice up your look, consider a statement jacket.
